Junior Guinea Pig
Some of you may remember that last week I was a bit peeved at the vet for saying J is very unhealthy. Well, we went back for our follow up today and she couldn't believe the difference - she certainly ate her words anyway!
We've been giving him the Baytril every day as instructed and have done everything we can to get him to eat more hay to help his teeth (which has cost a small fortune). It looks like the first dose of Xeno 450 has started work on those pesky mites as well.
He's still being really picky with veg, but is generally eating more than he was and has been eating quite a lot more of his pellet food. His impaction has got a little bit better, but obviously he'll always have that.
He's been spoilt rotten this last week (even more than normal!) and it looks like he's turned a corner. I think the vet needs to learn the difference between being unhealthy and being unwell.
I'm just so relieved that the big fuzzy guy's ok and is on the mend
