Anybody any idea what these are. Been finding the odd one or two in amongst the excel nuggets. Been removing them as they are unknown foreign bodies. I have spoken to Burgess and they are sending an envelope for me to forward the item to them. They are about 10mm square and about 5mm thick.

I'm sure I've heard on some other piggy facebook pages that people have been finding bits of dog biscuits in their sacks, but I can't find where hi've seen it now!

burgess pellets are made on the same line as the dog and cat food apparently. there was some info about it a while back on the rabbit forum aswell. so could be dog biscuit like the others have said.

Still they shouldn't be getting into the piggy food. Although I did find a green ring shaped biscuit in my Jr farms food a few weeks ago. So it must happen with all manufacturers.

yeh, they definitely shouldn't. i'm not a fan of excel pellets personally. alot of rabbits in particular get runny poop from them and i'm not sure if them being made on that same production line has something to do with it.

i don't know which manufacturers use the same lines and which don't, but i've only heard of excel pellets where this has been a problem myself. :)

Curious to know what they are as have also been finding them and despite emailing Burgess never got an answer. I did suspect they are either dog or cat biscuits so always remove them.
