Teenage Guinea Pig
maybe she thinks she's a dog....
You live in Bristol? That's concerning - you have the same carpet and sofa as in my old flat in Bristol!
Ah yes I do live in Bristol when I'm in uni (congresbury/yatton area), but I'm at home in Wales for the summer holidays at the moment. How weird that there's a flat in bristol that has the same stuff as my home in Wales!
Where in Bristol were you?
Amanda1801:
I'm at Bristol uni.
I used to live in Kingsdown next door to the White Bear, you know it?
My friend used to live in Clifton. Far too many trips to the Corrie Tap were made during my time in the city.... many of which I don't remember! lol
I know the white bear - I used to live on Aberdeen Road - the first turning left off of Hampton Road so about a 30 second walk from the white bear!
I'm now just off of Clifton Triangle![]()
What are you studying? Living in Congresbury, are you studying vetty stuff?
Oooh Triangle. Good place! Sainsbury round the corner, Triangle grill, Magic roll, Illusions! you must be in heaven, I would be! lol
I am indeed studying vetty stuffs! Just going into my final year! eeeekkkk! :S lol
Are you in uni too? If so what are you studying?

Ooooh i lived in Bristol for 4 years tooi loved it! Such a brilliant place to live, i cried when i left ")! I still go up regularly though as have lots of friends there. I moved around a lot, Fishponds to start with, then stokes croft, then Filton then Clifton - i was right by the downs, definitely my fav place out of them all!
Oooh i do miss it!
I am at Bristol uni - studying BSc veterinary anatomy at the moment, with the intention of doing PG vet med afterwards. By rights, I should have graduated this year, but I'm going back, yet again, into my 2nd year in october, taken 2 years out with illness and stuff. Bob Colborne is gonna be sick of me! I'm doing a great job of "how to become a vet in 10 short years" rolleyes
Final year sounds like exciting stuff! All my friends are just going into their 4th year!
She's lovely, I wish my 'crew' would eat sweetcorn....not at all interested. I bought some fresh corn on the cob on Saturday and put it in their run, not one of the trio are a bit interested in it. Funny how some like it and some not. I have one boy from a baby and he is a real fruit addict, and I have two girls that I took on from an owner who had lost interest. I don't think they had ever been given fruit, and they are not keen on it now. I reckon it all depends on what they are used to from being young.
BOB! He took us for anatomy. American right?
Aww, keep on at it! Its worth it in the end! Except maybe when you get called in for colic surgery at 3am on a friday night.. then you begin to question your own sanity of why you want to be a vet! lol Well thats what I was doing last friday anyway! lol
How many years is your course?
Yes, BOB!I'm taught by bob, Jenny dunleavy, and zuner (gotta LOVE that guy!) all year! It's supposed to be a 3 year degree, but it's taking me 5 for various reasons. Looking forward to going back though!
My ultimate aim is to be a vet pathologist...the owners don't come with them, and I can't do too much damage if they're already dead!
3am surgery sounds a delight, especially on a horse! It only took me 2 equine placements to decide I don't like horses! Took 2 cos the first one I did had nothing but geldings...there's something kinda satisfying about "that noise" as a woman!![]()
Aw Jenny's lovely! Zuner, he's funny, when he took us for the first time he tried to explain where his accent was from, and he listed all these countries. I dont think he really knows where he's from!
Yeh I'm not a big fan of horses. I think its the fact that they're so big and when they're so pushy and barge over you.. I like the polite horses!
So is vet path something like the VLA? Where thy do all the P.M's of animals?
