My 6.5 year old Fudge has recently been started on fortekor and continuing frusemide due to heart disease. She is also suspected renal failure. Fudge is a submissive pig normally, even when in heat (she has the odd rumble during this time). She has become increasingly brighter and more active since starting her fortekor, but heres the problem- she has been rumbling ALOT with the other two sows the past 2 days, so much more than normal. I ended up seperating her to cool off at 5am this morning as i kept get woken up to submissive squeals from my 9 month old sow. On observation, crunchie is still the most dominant which is normal and fudge isnt challenging her much, mainly just the 9 month old. They where put back together an hour later and has been better, but shes still quite rumbly. There hasnt been any biting or mounting.
I am thinking now that fudge is feeling better, she is challenging the pig "above her"? Or could there be another explanation? Fudge was scanned a few weeks ago for her bladder and they also checked her ovaries/uterus- they where small and healthy looking with no cysts.
I have attached a video where u can see fudge rumbling at the beginning (i cant seem to catch her when its more prominent as she just stops amd looks at the camera!) as you can see she is very bright and cheeky and clearly feeling much better.

Any ideas would be helpful
