Since his brother passed away this morning William has been getting completely spoilt.

He's had hours of cuddles and has been very good only wee'ing on my little sister once. ^)

He's been very timid and subdued, as he knows Keith isn't around anymore. He's currently sleeping with a fleecey triceratops which I am hoping will be enough company for the next few days.

I love him and didn't realise EXACTLY how much until this morning when I found Keith in the grassy cucumber fields of dreams.

He's even going to help me with my Ancient Greek essays tomorrow. What a lucky chap :)):)) I'm sure there will be a cucumbery reward!

I didn't know how I would cope when one passed away and today has been REALLY tough, but seeing his little face and everyone's kind words on here has been really lovely; so I want to thank everyone for such a lovely kind, supportive forum.

Most people would think I am nuts for loving a 'rodent' so much but Keith was my piggybaby and no-one, not even my OH can see this, apart from you guys.

Thank you for being there when it's such a sad time.

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost Keith, its such a sad and hard time when you loose your loved furrybabies, hope little William is okay.

I'm sure the tasty cucumber drool is helping his feel a little brighter! Good luck with your essay tomorrow (btw how do you write your essays when you have a piggie on your knee? I always become distracted and end up getting no work done for uni!)

Not too much work gets done - then the guinea pig input is always there! William is not scared of keyboard help. He does sit there quietly though nibbling on huge chunks of cucumber, then when he wants more random words appear in the document like 'hgirnewjkl'.

He also helps me out for music choices too. He showed his distaste for some music I was playing earlier by running along the keyboard, changing the songs - when it was something he liked he stopped and wiggled his bottom slightly and squeeked!

Won't be distracting at all tomorrow :))
