Do you think it would be okay to give bell peppers every other day?

I give my herd green bell peppers every morning for their source of vitamin c. When it comes to the colored bell peppers you want to limit because of the sugar content.

I normally give them bell peppers every day but was hoping to do it every other day they do get veggies everyday and they have pellets too :)

I don't see a problem with them getting it every other day as long as they have a different source of vitamin c for the off days

My 5 have half a bell pepper every day. Usually green because I don't like it as much and they usually come in packs of red, yellow and green.

Mine also get peppers everyday. Any colour. Just depend what I've bought and what I haven't eaten myself :D

mine have peppers every day too as they are Lottie and Lulus favourite veg! Suzie and her three friends always ask for cucumber first! All the others will head for the grass first choice!

Mine have green for dinner - then red or yellow or orange on rotation for breakfast !

Mine have pellets for breakfast and veg for dinner! Occasionally they will get a treat of Vitakraft green rolls or Wilko Nature's Salad.

Mine get it most days, everyday at the moment, I grew my own and now have a huge bowl full in the fridge due to clearing out the greenhouse ready for thre change in season. Other than a handful of hay a slither of pepper is my go to answer to over excited piggies due to opening the fridge for the milk. Come on you guys I need a cup of tea!

Mine have capsicum/peppers (whatever you call them in your country) everyday, I usually get whatever colour is on special which is usually red or green as yellow is ridiculously expensive here. I prefer green myself so they more often eat green but I like to cook with red so the piggies have red on those days which is Coco’s favourite and she also likes to slop it down herself and all over the fleece and cage sides (no idea what she does to get it on there). So fun for mummy to clean up after...not!

All my piggies have white chins and after they've had red peppers they are stained orange for the rest of the day :lol!:

Hubby did attempt to grow some and they ended up long and thin. Mind you, piggies still enjoyed them!

I’m not too keen on the green and unfortunately neither are the piggies!
