After letting my new texel piggie Captain Jack settle in after losing my beloved Andy , I let him have a little floor time with Murray my 11 month old piggie today. It went down quite well really no fights, a lot of grumbling and jumping on one another's back. Funnily enough 4 month old capt jack , gave Murray a run for his money, Murray really used to hurt Andy quite the bully really, seemed a little tolerant of the newbie, or maybe he still misses Andy . I don't know, but capt jack is really happy in his home now running about eating well. I think I'll keep them in seperate cages just to b sure. Fingers crossed they will get on ok but does anyone think I'm counting my chickens too early :yahoo:

Sadly with boars letting them bond them splitting them takes you back to square one each time. If things are ok and going well then your best to keep them together as by parting them your undoing all the good work. If everything is calm them its best to try them in the cage after an hour or so. Keep an eye on them for a good few hours and if alls well after a nap and dinner then they should be fine, first few days are always worst as they establish a hierarchy :)

I thought that with Andy and Murray , but when they were in the same cage that's when things got nasty, really scared to make the same mistake. Their cages are together so they can c one another and have a chat.

Not every piggy is the same. I have 32 boys who I have mainly bonded myself and some piggies just don't take to one another, where as some do :)

We'll u have a lot of experience so I'll give it a go. Mind u will have to get a bigger cage, more money lol

I do, loved them since I was little. Definitely worth a go if it works then nothing better then seeing two sleepy piggies together :)

I use c&c caging enabled me to build large cages to fit my room :)

I ended up getting two ferplas rodent cages not sure which ones but they are big ones, they do seem happy in there just try to give them as much floor time as poss, don't have a massive bedroom tho so it's a bit difficult
