we lost Jeff the white piggies a couple of days ago he was an ill piggie with his teeth both are only 18 months! tom’o Seams to be coping well but we haven’t really left him on his own for long periods! We put in a teddy for him to cuddle up with . I don’t know what to do next . do I get him a cage mate but I’m worried it won’t work out

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s good if Tom’o doesn’t seem to have taken the loss too hard. And yes to a cage mate for him.
I’m not sure where you are, but if there is a rescue nearby you can see if they do boar dating. That way tom’o can choose his own friend.

Give your boy time to mourn. As long as he is eating and drinking on his own, he will keep while you are doing your research.
Here is our list of vetted rescues that we can vouch for you being in safe hands. Please be aware that the Blue Cross in Burford, which is one of your closer rescues does unfortunately not offer boar dating, nor will any RSPCA branches as a matter of policy; they only accept neutered boars and cross gender bondings.
