a hermans tortoise? We had one for years, well mum did as a child and he died a couple of years ago at around 80+ years old, called speedy and boy was he. Mum had him third hand when she was young and he lived for years at her mums where each time we visited I wanted to be out with speedy, feeding him by hand and stroking him etc, when nan died we brought him back to ours and he had a whole lawn (instead of concrete yard with flower beds or grass) to explore, I think he enjoyed his last home with all the space and greenery.
