best before dates

on an unopened bag of nuggets, how long after the best before date on the side would you be willing to feed them to your piggies? or would you just bin them?

Hmmm, personally, on dried foods, I think you can be quite generous with best before dates. The vit.c content in the nuggets would probably be depleted, but if you feed them lots of vit.c rich foods, it won't make a difference to them. I'd say 3 months.
