My guinea pigs are scratching am awful lot so I suspect they have fleas or mites. There are so many products.. Which are the best in your opinion for killing fleas/mites?

Guinea pigs don’t get fleas. You will need to see a vet diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.
Nothing you can buy yourself either online or from a pet shop will be strong enough to actually deal with a mites issue effectively, plus you need to be sure what you are actually dealing with and only a vet can tell you that

Guinea pigs don't actually get fleas.
If they are scratching it could be mites, lice or a fungal infection.
The only way to be sure is to have them seen by a vet and use a proper prescription treatment.
These are usually not expensive and will solve the problem.
Shop bought remedies are rarely effective - they simply mask the symptoms and make a proper diagnosis harder in the end.

Please make an appointment for your guinea pigs to be seen by a vet.

Hi and welcome!

Please see a vet for a diagnosis. If you have new guinea pigs, then you can reclaim the vet cost from the pet shop you have got your piggies from.

Do not treat at home on spec and especially stay clear of any low dosed broad spectrum pet shop products with won't help with an acute case at the best and kill your piggies at the worst - and yes, we have seen the sorry results of 'cheap' home treatment on here too often! Guinea pigs don't have species specific fleas, but flea powder can be deadly for them.
Getting a good vet strength products means that you can get on top of whatever it is that your piggies have as quickly as possible with the correct treatment and don't have to pay more in the end for an advanced case and weeks/months of unnecessary suffering, benefitting only the pet shop. Do not use any creams, powders, spot-ons or baths before your piggies have been seen by a vet - they will thank you to not wipe the crime scene and allow them a safe diagnosis.
