Hi there just wondering what would be the best food for some young boars guinea pigs’ I have heard good things about Burgess and origins but not to sure about selective science’ what do you feed your guineas and what would you recommend? 🙂

Welcome to the Forum! I feed mine on Science Selective Grain free. They have a tablespoon per piggy per day scatterfed in the run and they love to arthritically run around foraging for their food. I have 2 old ladies The Ever Beautiful Betsy is 6 end of Jan and Shy Little Meg is 6 at the beginning of May.

Here is our Nugget Comparison Chart.

Hands down science selective grain free is the best, its grain free, no unhealthy fillers, timothy based, low calcium, decently priced and my piggies love it.

Sorry I chuckled at 'arthritically run around' *looks at my 5 piggies all over 5 years old too* 🤣

Thank you 😁 you guineas sound gorgeous have to look in to selective thanks

My 6 are all on Science selective grain free too. So easy to switch them from their previous diets onto this so must be tasty (my first 2 were originally fed on muesli but switched when I got them. My last 2 were on P@H pellets which are alfalfa based.)

Science selective grain free is what I feed my piggies also, and whilst it may seem expensive, it’s really not as they only need a tablespoon each a day, should last for ages even if you have lots of piggies
