Can anyone suggest the best high vit c pellets (and low calcium). Honor is sooo fussy with her veg and has a few vitamin c issues so i want to find the best pellets for her.
Dose anyone have a list on the best few makes vit c wise? Honor is rather fussy food wise so would like a few makes to try.

Thanks :)

Could you give her a vitamin c tablet suitable for small animals? That is what I do for mine.

Yes shes on vit c tablets each day. I just wondered as she seems to be going off the pellets she is on( shes on 2mixed together atm) ...so thought time for a change possibly.

I also feed cavy cuisine - low calcium, high vit C, high fibre, low fat (I have a pig with gall stones....). They all love it, even Maggie (gall stone pig!) despite the fact that previously, all she'd eat was muesli!

Personally, I would recommend Oxbow Cavy Cuisine

Where do you buy your Cavy Cuisine from? I get the impression that you can only get it online.

Thanks. I'm trying to avoid having to order it online as it is usually my poor neighbours who are in when parcels arrive - and not me!
I'm the same I avoid deliveries, my neighbours work as well so there is never anyone anywhere to take parcels :-)

Have a look at the supreme range also - they do the vetcare multimodal and fibafirst.

Thank you for this information Hermes . I was put off by the supreme range as their Science Selective has calcium carbonate as an ingredient - I can't see the logic in adding calcium carbonate to a foodstuff aimed at creatures who need to limit their calcium intake. I have tried my boys on Fibafirst and they wouldn't touch it but I think I'll have another go.
My boys eat Oxbow under sufferance but I'd really like them to have a dry food they enjoy as much as their fresh veggies.

I think Supreme will provide samples so I'm going to see if they will send me samples of the vetcare mulitmodal and fibafirst.
