Wood Green recommended the Burgess tasty pellets as that's what they are currently on but is there a better food out there for my Guinea pigs?

Burgess pellets are good. My piggies love them and they are very good quality :) Usually on offer in Pets at home too :)

I'm currently using a mix of Oxbow Cavy Cuisine and Science Selective. However, I really could do with a low calcium pellet as I am sure they get plenty of calcium from their veggies. Their wee is cloudy .

If asked I will always recommend the Bunny or Vitakraft (links are in the above thread) as I have seen real changes in my own and other pigs when fed this. However, I know everyone has their own opinion and so am putting together a list of all available pellets and will give calcium, phosphorous and protein ratios.

The best pellet is no pellet in my opinion but I agree that Bunny is amazing. My piggie who suffers with a low level cysistis can eat these and not suffer.

I don't give him them though because they were too expencive for me so they just get no pellets.

I give burgess black current and oregano to my younger two guinea pigs, one handful a day only.
