Any preference for Harrington's or Burgess, @Stewybus ?

Harringtons are great all round pellets & ideal for babies too because they are small. Burgess with mint are the largest & sometimes babies can't manage these. Burgess with Blackcurrant & Oregan fall inbetween. I don't have any real preference & tend to leave it to the piggies or if they're already on these pellets I don't change.

I also believe in feeding them Readigrass which is dried grass & usually really green. Just a 4 inch bowl a day per pair or topped up again in the evening in the winter whenyou can't give them good fresh grass x

Mine are on Rosewood Naturals Meadow Menu - they love it :)

I prefer B&M hay to Willinsons hay. It's greener and it smells nicer.

Yes I like the natures Timothy hay from b&m with marigold in both my piggies and rabbits love it and only £1.99 a 1kg bag

ive put some of mine on harringtons and they seem to like it..basic bunny pellets from zooplus are going down well,I'm mixing these together,as i do not want my piggies to get fixated on one pellet !

Yes I have a mix of Harringtons and oxbow cavy cuisine for them an I use Burgess excel blackcurant and oregano and the mint ones too but don't mix them I've also had the science selective but they weren't fussed on them!

I use oxbow pellets, ordered online and sent to my local pets at home store. It's near impossible to find timothy based pellets on the high street unfortunately :(

Yes I agree it's so hard. Rosewood natural meadow menu is defiantly the way forward Timothy hay based no soya & no grain for me just hope they like them

I am a big fan of the Asda own plain pellets - the ones in the purple bag (not museli) - they have been reviewed on here before and seem to score very well in terms of nutrition. My three boys and girl love them and at £2 a bag I can buy a couple at once and used the savings on getting them good quality hay. :cake:

Mine are not keen at all on the burgess pellets and the harringtons gets left in the bowl until the end. I have some of the naturals grainless but it does tend to get left in the bowl till the end, this food does smell gorgeous though.
I personally feed the science selective as all my 5 pigs love it. I find it to be the best shop brought food for me. It is the one that gets eaten the most out of the brand that I have tried.
I order my science selective from amazon and it is £21.99 for a 10kg bag.
