Hi,
I have made the decision to switch my pigs from fleece to disposable bedding as the fleece just isn't working for me anymore and due to the fact that both my pigs are currently being treated for mites. I've read aubiose is good but there are no suppliers close to me. Wheres the best place to buy it online? I'm using the tiny friend farm bedding temporarily but i need 1 and a half bags bags to cover my cage so its £15 each time they need cleaning out.
Ps - sorry for the long post 😊😊

The only place I seem to can find aubiose online is, eBay & amazon but it is about £20 for a 20kg bag. Personally I don't actually have any experience on aubiose because my two are on guinea dad fleece. :)

Thank you! I have been using fleece for a few months now but because I'm only a teenager i had to wash it inbetween when my mum was using it so its becoming too difficult to manage xx

I use aubiose for my hay tray and when I don’t use fleece (when I go to visit my parents as my husband refuses to sweep poo!) I find it nicer than shavings, it’s not sharp like Rivera Pro but not as absorbent as Fitch, though it lasts a lot longer. Have you checked the aubiose website for your nearest seller? I get mine from a horse feed place about 12 miles away and it costs about £12 a bale.

Ill have a look. It just depends how far away it is as one of my parents would have to takr me but that is a lot cheaper than buying it online!

Amazon is where I got mine from it's

I cannot fault it so far. There's barely any smell at all, even once you clear up an area that has been soaked with wee. Id definitely recommend it. Bare in mind it's a huge bale though. You'll need somewhere to store it. We have boxes under the cage full of hay and this stuff. 😃

Hey. We've always used Aubiose, it's fab and one 20kg able seems to last is quite a while even though we have a big c and c cage.

We ordered our first couple of bales online from Amazin and paid a stupid amount. I spent a good couple of hours online email loads of local farm suppliers and finally found some who stock it not too far from where we live. I would recommend spending a bit of time doing the searching and you may just fine something!

It is a fraction of the price we paid Amazon!

Good luck and happy hunting!
