I am currently using johnsons shampoo for my piggies, and for my girls this has been fine. However the boys i collected yesterday are really smelly and I would like to get something a bit better for them

I have looked at georgous guineas and there seems so much choice what have you all found to be the best one? Esp for smelly boys!

they're really good but some of the products on there are REALLY smelly.... I can't quite decide whether it was the coconeem melt, the Manuka and Neem shampoo or the lavender ointment but something stuck to my Bertie for a week and it just smelled like an rotten onion! :)>>>:)>>>:)>>>

Why not try the Especially for boars shampoo, with Cedarwood and Sandalwood, they'll come out smelling sexy and sensuous...:)):))

i like the lice n easy. even though itsn ot for the smell i like it. I dont rate the just for boars much though, it doesnt make my pigs smell any different and i wasnt that impressed with it. definetly lice n easy for me :)

i have just for boars, lice and easy and something else, but not sure what it is without looking!

I like all of them, they all smell lovely and work really well.

I use Lice N Easy and find that great, cleans them and rids them of Lice if they have any that I can't see! Two birds killed with one stone! :D

Don't like the smell though, can't Chrissie mash some rose petals and put that in with it...oh I dunno I'm not an essentialoilist! :))

I use gorgeous guineas 'just for boars', 'posh & go' (for long haired beauties) or 'lice & easy'.

When I first looked at the site I agree the choice was big & I didn't know which to choose. ?/ Why not buy 3 or 4 of the trial sizes & see if one or more is right for you & your piggies? That way you don't have to buy a big bottle & waste it if you don't like / use it. Plus having more than one shampoo means you have a choice depending upon the reason for bathing (especially the lice & easy!) 8:)

They are wonderful shampoos & my boys always look even more handsome & silky after their baths! (I am very aware of my bias to my guys!) xx>>>

Thinking about it, we will have to make sure they are looking their best when our 2 new arrivals Billy & Bobby arrive in about 4 weeks. (They are the pigs featured in the 'preston piggies' thread!) :(|):(|):(|)

thanks to everyone for their advice I shall be going shampoo shopping tomorrow i think and get everyone smelling beautiful:)

Just for Boars -just for the novelty of shampoo just for the boys! But my staple shampoo is the Lemongrass and Cedarwood EasiRinse. Trial sizes are the way to go for a first time GG buyer.

Posh'n'Go is just the best for long haired piggies, and it smells adorable too x>> EasiRinse is also really good, and is great for leaving the hair and skin really conditioned.
I would order the trial sizes, and see which you like the best. You honestly can't go wrong with any Gorgeous Guinea's products xx>>>

I first used the `just for boars` on my longhaired coronet yesterday and the results were outstanding, better even than the posh n go!

Have a look at his shiny coat in the photo gallery under Timmy photos RARE! :))
