Best thing for cleaning grease glands?

I used some fairy liquid the last time for Misty and Sooty's and it seemed fine but I've tried it on Brandy and it won't take it away. They are really dirty asif they haven't been cleaned before so what would be best to use?

Any hardware shop or DIY store. Its for workmen to remove oil and grease off their hands.

I agree with the swarfega, its fantastic for cleaning the grease gland 8). If you cant find it in a local hardware shop tescos usually stocks it in the car section aswell
