Just wondering what Guinea Pig Pellets other people feed, and what would be best for my pigs. I currently feed Twitch Guinea Pig Pellets as they are relatively easy to get hold of and seem to be a hit with my pigs. Are there any good types of pellets that are widely available and good for pigs? Just wondering...

The comparison chart is linked in below.

What you feed your piggies is going to depend widely on what you can reliably get hold off, your budget and what your piggies like. You are ideally looking for a grass/hay based pellet. You would want to ideally avoid a pellet containing alfalfa (high in calcium) where possible and some of us like to be grain free in our choice of pellets.

Pellets make up such a tiny amount of their diet and the most important thing is to ensure you don’t overfeed them - one tablespoon of pellets per pig per day is plenty. I believe I have previously sent you a picture of the amount of pellets I feed my two boys when you asked about pellets before. My two get just 6-10g of pellets per day to share between them - it’s around half a tablespoon each. I use science selective grain free.
