Betsy And Her New Mat :)

Just bought a piggy cushion from car boot sale today similar to your mat. Need to wash it first before I give it to my piggies. Will put my Betsy on it when it's dry and put the piccie on this thread.

I think they are just called microfibre bath mats :) These ones came from b&m and are definitely the best quality I have had so far (I also got one off the internet but it isn't as good) I was sooo happy when I found these though as had been after some for a while.

I had a quick google and found these Shaggy Microfibre Bathroom Shower Bath Mat Rug Non-Slip Backing - 12 Colours | eBay which look similar to the ones I have, hope this helps x

they are lovely thank you. Still loathe being handled but seem content with each other and will happily take food from me. The new cage is coming on slowly. Waiting for more connectors from sport billy also looking at timber and plexi glass ...
 
so cute! I also want to try that mat for my piggies! Long ago I bought two similar pieces at Ikea (they are sold as bathroom mats), but I fear my demon piggies will tear them off...:gd:
 
She looks adorable all chilled out on her cute little mat :).

I saw some microfibre bath mats at Tesco yesterday, if anyone's interested.

That's great to hear :) to be honest my two dislike being picked up too... I only really do it for health checks and weigh days. They much prefer me interacting with them on the floor.

Best of luck with the cage.. it must be a bit frustrating waiting for it all to be done but it will be so soo worth it just to see all the zoomies and pocorning in all that space :D You'll have to make sure you post lots of pics x

Thanks she is gorgeous most of the time - a little Madam when on heat though! I got her because of her hair. I fell in love instantly! :love::luv:

haha completely like my Betsy, she is such a cutie but can be a right madam! I find it hilarious when shes in season trying to chase her sister who's a lot bigger than her (betsy is only 850g!)
I adore long haired piggies (would love some of my own soon), so totally see why you chose her :luv:
 
What a sweet little lady! She looks so comfortable, that paw is just adorable! :wub: I need to try this for my piggies sometime!
 
I'm going to bm bargains tomorrow to get some mats. Mine our outside piggies. When all 5 decide its a good idea to all be together in the 'sleeping area' of the hutch it gets a bit high in there cos of all the urine. Newspaper isn't good at soaking up wee from all those piggies! I have to change it a lot and as you can imagine this is not a particularly pleasant job :no: and I get through LOADS of it. I have a lot of people keeping old newspapers just for me to put in the hutch. I think the mats would be a better idea. If I get 7 of them that's a different one for each day of the week. The problem will be what to wash them in so my washing machine won't be ruined by the hay. I'll ask my neighbour to make me a bag out of an old sheet (I don't have a sewing machine). She does owe me quite a few favours!
