Big Bag Of Aubiose Smells Funny?

I have a massive bag of aubiose that's not long been opened. I don't think I was purposely sniffing it but I've just got a big whiff! I'm not sure what the smell is but I think it smells damp? It's been kept inside my house (that's not damp) so I'm confused. I don't think it smelt like that when I got it as I think I would have noticed

I got a whiff when I was filling their litter trays but can only smell it now when I stick my head in the bag but it does have a strange smell and I can only describe it as a damp and muggy smell? Although I don't know how it would have got damp
