Lola has a big belly at her stomach bit- she pretty much has the sort of pregnancy look with a small upper body and a larger lower body. Although I know this can be normal for some piggies I'm worried as it reminds me of my previous pig Bailey who had the same and it turned out she had a mass in her stomach which eventually killed her. The other guys all have much smaller stomachs so I can't really compare but Lola is naturally a bit smaller and with her leg I wonder if she has just put on more weight than the rest, though I'm not worried about her weight as I wouldn't say she is fat- it's just her shape that worries me. She generally doesn't mind anyone touching her belly whereas I remember Bailey being a lot more sensative around that area.

What should a normal belly feel like? Are there any telling signs of a mass? I normally wouldn't have said anything was wrong but I felt the same with Bailey- assuming it was just her natural shape, so I'm a lot more anxious this time round :(.

I would say if you've noticed an obvious difference in her recently, then get her checked out, for the sake of a consultation fee and putting your mind at rest, it's worth it!

Thanks Amanda was hoping you would reply :).

It's not something different- she's been this shape for a good couple of months which is why I do wonder if it's just her adult shape (she's a little bit of a year). But that was the same as Bailey, for as long as I could remember she had a large belly and she was the same sort of shape for about a year until she died. Think I shall book her in a vet appointment anyway though. Thank you :).
