Poor big pig! She's off to get her swollen spongy ear looked at. Here she is in her carrier hiding behind Jezzy floof who is accompanying her for moral support, because Jezzy loves the vets and never gets scared and likes to chat to any random children or dogs or cats or bunnies in the waiting room!

Theo is "on guard" because we have abducted 2 of his ladies...

I just noticed in the photo with Theo you can see Piggle looking secretly pleased that "the boss lady" has gone to the vets and plotting all manner of secret herd takeover bids...!

All done! Clover saw a locum vet but he was very thorough, he easily identified a haematoma (like a bruise filled with blood) on her ear, he said he's seen them a lot and much worse after dog and cat fights. So he drained it with a syringe. And he checked her eyes and teeth, cleaned some wax out of her ears, checked on her wonky leg, and clipped her nails! All for the standard £22 check up fee. Good job there locum vet chap

Sorry Piggle, your dreams of herd domination were rather short lived... though we might be asking you a few questions about why and how Clover came to have a haematoma on her ear?

Oh my poor boss lady she is eating from the 3rd in rank food dish tonight... which is strategically quite good as its the opposite side of the castle ramp so less prone to veg theft, but its usually Blodwen's spot...
Poor old big pig! She was so brave at the vet piggy daddy says... it just goes to show how fast these youngster interlopers are in trying to take the top spot! Hopefully tomorrow in the playpen she'll put Piggle and Blod in their proper places! Piggle has taken Clover's dish, Blod has taken Piggle's dish... piggy lady politics are so fickle!

I always blame Piggle, she's always the ringleader and instigator of any piggy chaos shennanigans... she's also rather prone to what appears initially to be friendly social face grooming that occasionally causes dramatic bald patches when the hoomans arent watching!
