big pigs!

i have to say, i was surprised at the size of my girls when i got them, i honestly never knew piggies got so big.
do the boys get bigger than the girls when fully grown?
 
Usually,but not a great deal bigger.They are more adventurous too.
 
A chunky piggie! Lovely for cuddles. My first piggies who were sows were big girlies. Montgomery is my smallest pig. Maybe its all the exercise he gets..
 
Adult guinea pigs can be anything between 800g to 1800g, although the average is around 900-1200g. Some piggies are bigger, but still healthy and happy!

My biggest girl Nerys is bigger than my boy!
 
Every pig is different. You still get the dainty ones who are only 900g but perfectly proportioned and healthy. Then you get the biggest, chunkiest pigs...mine is Dexter who weighs in at 1450g, but the closest ones after him are some of the girls at around 1300g.
 
My boys have usually grown bigger thsn the girls, longer and stockier.

Harvery and Huxley grew to a size that would rival a small jack russel!
