Big Problem

So I'm in a big predicament because we started to potty train our guinea pigs and we put a towel over their litter box so they'll go on it. But the thing is that my mom hates cleaning up poops so she doesn't let me put hidey houses in at all because she says it will make them poop and pee in it and she is right. Whenever I put a house in they do all their business in their and not in their litter box. If they can't go to the bathroom on the litter box constantly my mom won't let them have any hidey houses. Any tips for litter training?

I don't think it's possible to litter train pigs. The only reason they are going in their litter tray is because it's the only covered area for them to shelter in so they are probably spending a lot of time hiding in there and by default doing their poops in there

Can you clean the poo up so your mum doesnt have to? Then you can put whatever you like in there.. My mum insists on wearing disposable gloves on when she looks after them if we go on holiday... i just wash my hands after as its not like a like a dog poo

Piggies are poop machines they wee and poop where they happen to be at the time the need to "go". You cannot litter train a piggie. If you have a hay rack or hay tray or kitchen area you could try putting down substrate or a pee pad and they are likely going to wee and poop more there cose they will be there eating away.
