god. biggest fright of my life honestly! my 4 year old guinea pepper was lying down in the corner of her cage and her sister was squeaking very loudly- very unusual for her and didn’t even react when i picked her up. i was very scared so carried her straight down to the kitchen where she was hand fed apple and cucumber (all i could find!) for about 20 minutes. she ate everything and seems fine now. the only 2 things i can think of is possibly her teeth- but i wouldn’t think so as she’s eating her pellets, and her nails are very long, i’ve been meaning to cut them but haven’t had a chance yet. only 2 that i can see have curled slightly. i’ve trimmed them as best as she can but her nails are black so it’s very hard. she’s squeaking again, and is eating apple with her sister. any thoughts or was i just overreacting? 😩

She may have just been in a deep sleep. You wouldn't be the first owner caught off guard with this. Keep an eye on her behaviour and weight and if there are more concerns get a vet to check her over
