Billie Piggy my little girl :cry:
You were the cheekiest of my trio, you always had a little smile on your face that I will miss dearly. You and your two sisters were always very close, you and Tillie even more so. We will all miss you sweetie, there may be tears now but soon I will be able to look back over your life with a smile. x
I was young when we first got you, we all went to the garden centre for some plant things and came across three little piggies, all huddled together and tiny
My sister nagged for you and we bought you, we had two piggies already and couldn't feel as though we could leave one of you behind and just get two, even from then we knew you were a family who stuck together.
Ginny and Lima were old when you first arrived and weren't keen on the idea of newbies so you were kept in separate cages in our shed. You became known as the 'little guineas' and Ginny and Lima as the 'big guineas'.
My sister choose you as 'hers' and named you Billie, she was fascinated with your spiky fur
I named Tillie and my mum named Agnes. My sister sadly 'grew out' of you and your sisters, something I will never understand. But she still loved you, and will miss you.
Many happy years we spent together, you were the nosiest of the piggies, with Tillie being a close second
I could hear you squeaking away at veg times from down the garden
You used to enjoy going outside a lot, and your favourite thing of all time has to be eating! And rumaging round in a big pile of hay!
You were so lovely, you never asked for anything, just love. I know there was times were your life wasn't the best, missed clean outs when I was younger for example but you didn't care, so long as you had my love you asked nor wanted anything more and I will always love you
Lima and then Ginny passed away but this didn't have much of an effect on you and your sisters, you could see eachother but were more fond of the company of your sisters, and Ginny and Lima the company of eachother. Beano then moved into the shed and then Gordon. Your cage has pretty much stayed the same though, up on your table where you could see out of the window and in summer the recent mesh door.
You were always happy, the night before yesterday I found you un able to use your back legs, you looked terrible dragging your self along  We found you had a spinal tumor and there was nothing we could do, we tried pain killers and meds but you weren't getting any better, just worse. I knew it would be kinder to let you go, you were always so cheerful, you didn't want to be seen struggling. So tonight you were helped to the bridge, you went peacefully to sleep before reiceiving the injection. I cried when the vet said there was no other option really, but you looked at me and I knew you were ready to leave now.
I love you my cheeky, noisy, happy little Billie Piggy. I will miss you, but as I explained to you and your sisters this is a new part of your life, I am sad me, Tillie and Agnes aren't a part of it just yet but you'll be ok, you have fun in all the meadows at the bridge, walk again with no pain and eat all you like! Ginny and Lima will look after you, give them my love and Tillie and Agnes will join you again one day. As will I my sweetie. Sweet dreams, until we meet again Billie I love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
These pictures were taken tonight, you had a special cuddle and a little meal
The vet said it would be difficult because the front half of your body looked perfectly well, the back half looked like it belonged to a different guinea pig.
Your back legs totally useless today
