I'm rooting for Billy! So sorry you're in this situation, it's so tough when these things happen.
The boys and I send you hugs and licks! (Erm, I'm giving the hugs...)
Thank you x he's actually quite happy in himself moat of the time, he has occasional off days where his jaw can be sore I think but mainly he's fine - we have his pain quite nicely under control right now, it's thebthyroid causing the most grief!

Mitch has had a bit of a setback & is going to the vets this afternoon. His breathing is laboured & I suspect water on the lungs so he will need a diuretic. I'm hoping I have caught it in time. I'll update later x
How did you get on?

He's been up & down over the last few days. Had water retention so given diuretic injection on Thursday followed by oral on Friday & Saturday. He lost nearly 90g between Thursday & Friday & also had diarrhoea. Given Cisapride since Friday & everything's getting back to normal From Friday morning to this morning his weight has steadily increased & he's gained back nearly half of what he'd lost. He's back at the vets next week for a blood test so we'll see where that leads to x

I have another question - I wondered if changing his thyroid medicine to the mornings may be worth tryint to see if it made a difference and gave him it this morning, however since reading the recent posts on here I want to switch back to evening.

What do I do - wait until tomorrow night now to give him his next dose or give him it again tonight having already had it this morning? He had it at about 6.15am so if I gave him it tonight I could do so as late as possible. !?!?!?!?!?!

Annoyed I did that now...
I have thyroid problems & take mine in the morning, I was told that it doesn't really make any difference.
But then I'm not a piggy. Lol
