Billybobbles is a dominant little grouch, who can be easily manipulated with grass ;)

Here he is having a nail trim / lap picnic

This is his 'I'm quite annoyed with you right now but the grass is really yummy' face ;)

How much grass can a piggy get into his mouth at once! He looks adorably content. Out of curiosity do you trim his nails before or after the bribe? I generally feed mine their favourite parsley before I attempt nail trimming, but they are not co-operative.

Oh I feed it DURING! Haha, it's the best way to get him to sit still he would fidget otherwise. Long as he can fill his face with grass I can get a good hold of all 4 feet. Rodney doesn't even need bribing he will let you do anything he's that placid, but Billy is far too busy & likes to be in charge. He can fit a phonominal amount of food in that face ;)

I can't suss out how you are getting at the nails while Billy is munching away. Can I have step-by-step instructions or a video? My Peanut Butter is such a squirmer sometimes I just give up and get the vet to trim his nails while he is there getting his teeth done. The other day I decided to cut his nails by myself once again and I managed to cut one way too short as he jumped at the last minute. Heaps of blood and 30 minutes with the styptic pencil and dipping his toe in flour before it finally stopped. It was the worst case yet. I felt soooooooo bad!

Well basically all I do is have the grass ready, sit him on my knee & put a pile of grass in front of him & he will sit & eat it. While he is eating I just gently lift each foot & snip. Obv I have to turn him (and grass) half way to get the other side.
As long as I don't run out if grass he is so preoccupied with eating he doesn't mind, he sometimes pulls his little hands back they're the hardest but I just persevere til I get a good grip.

Maybe I'm just lucky he is so greedy grass takes priority!? Have you tried sitting with him on your knee so he is nice & secure, & letting him munch his favourite food while you subtly lift each foot?

What clippers do you use?

I used to use grass as a diversion with my late Abby Sammy she was just the same as Billy. I literally sat on the grass and put a pile on my lap. It works though as they are so busy eating. Like you say you have to spin them round to do the other side. ;)

That is so cool that you can divert his attention like that! :))

He is gorgeous x)

Thanks for those instructions! Will have to give this a try. As for nail clippers I've tried a scissors type meant for small animals, a guillotine type meant for small animals and have finally settled on human clippers as they give me the best control.
