Alicia
Adult Guinea Pig
Billy hasn't been very well recently
He had mites, which he has now been treated for, and he also has quite runny stools. I ran out of food on Saturday and because it was Saturday night the pet shop was closed, so I went to Tescos and got him a different food. I know I shouldn't have done that and I feel really stupid but I was worried about him being hungry. I've been told to not give him any dry food or vegetables for the next couple of days, and just give him hay. I just wanted to check what you think, do you agree with this? I'm so worried about him, the past few weeks he's really started to show his age, and his coat is now not as soft as it is and he's become a bit more little (all my older guinea-pigs seem to do this) And how do I start giving him food again (he normally has Burgess Excel and has been fine on that for about a year now)
