I use non bio to wash family clothes but bio for the piggy's fleeces. They seem to smell quite strongly of chemicals and perfume sometimes, so I sometimes do an extra rinse.
Do you think non bio would get rid of the piggy poo and wee germs? I wash at 40.

You want it the other way round. Non bionfor pigs and bio for you. I wash with non bio at 60c

Yea, non bio just means there's no enzymes in the liquid or powder ( less chance of skin irritants) but doesn't do so well with stain removal, but if you wack the temp up a bit it will remove stains

Because I don't like to put the special fleece with its wadding and waterproof backing in on a hot wash, I use Halo sportswear wash (Sainsbury's stock it). It's non-bio but 'antifungal and antibacterial' and it says that it can be used at 30 degrees -- which is what I do (that or 40 degrees). It doesn't seem to have any discernible smell either. I've seen Halo mentioned somewhere else on this forum.

Ooh more options thank you. That looks good for my detoxing my son's clothes as he enters puberty! :tu:
