Bird piggy

We’ve recently discovered that one of my Guinea pigs poppy doesn’t squeak she chirps like a bird does and it is so cuteeeeeeee

It’s a rather rare sound and most owners will never get to hear it. Nobody really knows why they actually do it but it seems to happen most when there is tension.

My Lily is a big chirper, too. Sometimes she does it when lights go out after something's startled her, other times she's lounging outside with her footsies sticking out and singing the song of her people.

I think that's her contacting the mothership.
