My herd seemed to be settled in about 2 weeks.
That’s when I realised there were no more minor tussles between Jemimah and Priscilla, the 2 middle piggies.
It took them that long to decide to be best friends and oartners in mischief

Ok. I will wait. I am going to put some bunk areas in this week. I am not crazy about the boxes, but I wanted her to have exits if she needed them. Both of my older girls groom her and take turns sleeping next to her. There is the occasional chase, but nothing serious. The cage is a bit messy because I have just been sprinkling pellets and hay all around for her because she eats slower.
 
I am just worried she will be cold. I have never had a skinny. There are fleece tunnels all around, but she hasn't used them yet. Hopefully that means she is not cold.

Thank you so much! My original pair never liked the igloos. They love these wire shelves that I make a bunk bed out of. They are low to the ground, but they can still get under them. I cover it with a pee pad and secure with a binder clip then cover that in another pad. They love it! I finish with a fleece forest.
 
Well done with the bonding! She looks a happy little hyperactive girl, if she's anything like our Tallulah you might want to allow for the hyperactive lap running in your final cage set-up. Or that might just be Tallulah who is a bit "special" and runs laps and chews things while everypig and everyhooman is sleeping or at least trying to sleep :)
I thought Tallulah might be cold but she's less keen on fleecy tunnels and houses than my other piggies, she just zooms around to keep warm then when she's finally tired out she snuggles under her furry husband!

Birdie is adorable.

My skinnies have the luxury snooze or huge cubes from Fuzzbutts. they have two entrances so are ideal for them. I put some scrunched up fleece inside them. Dora is also a bit hyper (i think its a female skinny pig thing) and likes to push the fleece around in the cube for a while and then sleep under it. She absolutely refuses to share her sleeping space with Ginger and wow betide him if he accidentally tries to get in there. Maybe i should have got her a furry husband.
