Does anyone know if these are safe for piggies? I know birdsfoot trefoil is used as livestock fodder and I think we can eat speedwell but can’t find anything (unsurprisingly) about guineapigs!

I have absolutely no idea but the names are something special!

The book Foraging for Rabbits from the Rabbit Welfare Association says yes to Speedwell, they don't have Trefoil in there. Although written for rabbit owners the book marks plants that are not okay for piggies. They mention several types of Speedwell and Germander is included.

I have a bunch of it and just looked it up and found out that
1. It is not a member of the clover family.
2. All parts are poisonous (hydrogen cyanide). Obviously, it would take a large amount for a human but for G-Pigs? I wouldn't take the chance. birdsfoot trefoil.JPG1.JPG
