And carrots, and tomatoes.... he'll only eat cucumber, spinach and coriander now... started finding left over broccoli, which is a first.... he's fine in himself, eating his timothy hay etc......

Piggies can often get 'bored' of food and then start eating it again after a little break. Our girls will eat brocoli for a few days then we'll have to leave it a week before giving it them again.

Is his weight ok? He's not struglling to chew?

He's not having trouble eating, his weight's fine. He's always been a fussy eater, and will only eat the stalk of the broccoli, not the floret.. now he's leaving that too, guess he's put a note in the back of his diary "Another veg bites the dust, now maybe my human will give me some else instead"..

They can be fussy! We try and vary our girls diet so they don't get bored but some foods get very short attention..... Broccoli and Coriander are the ones they love for 2 days then won't touch again for a week. Fussy things! Luckily they will eat lots of different veg so it's quite easy to keep it varied for them.

I wouldn't worry so long as he is eating ok and not losing weight. My girls often 'go off' certain foods for a couple of weeks and then after a break away from it, they like it again :)

I've got one of these fussy pigs. J will only eat brocolli stalk, carrot and parsley at the moment. I've been trying to give him something different every day and this seems be working. I think some pigs just like a bit of variety :)

they are just so spoiled.....Bertie will sit dramatically out of his bed last thing at night when I have given him extra hay, but a blanket over the back of his cage in case next doors cat watches him, said night Bertie and turned the light off. If I dont give him a half slice of cucumber he just sits there, 10 minutes later still sitting there, give him his cucumber he chomps it and goes to bed....yesterday I had one chantenay carrot left and then bog standard Asda big bag. I peeled the chantenay and an ordinary one and put them in his cage in sticks. Now I could tell the difference...and guess what so could Bertie!x)

Yes mine were stuffing themselves with broccoli in the summer then went off it completely. You just have to wait a bit, they seem to like having a rest from some vegetables. Offer new things from time to time and they do eventually like it.:)p

They are very discerning! Freshest, tastiest or they turn their noses up. Incredible things aren't they.

Make sure that you don't overdo the spinach - it is very high in calcium and that can lead to problems. Some piggies can be very fussy eaters. Alternatively, you can feed completely different foods, and hopefully, after a few days sulking, your boy will get hungry enough to what is there! this approach is not for timid souls, though!

Here are other veg he can eat:
