Biscuit looks odd?

I adopted biscuit my smooth haired gp of this forum so I am not sure of his age.

I have noticed yesterday he is looking odd around his cheeks, the fur looks fanned out and odd?

He is registered with a vet who I have been to once with him but he is not very cavy savvy and I am struggling to find a good exotic vet in my area (eastbourne/ east sussex)

he is eating fine etc but just looks a bit odd is this something anyone has encountered?
