Hi everyone,
I'm currently off sick from work which is annoying but it means that I have time for the first time in ages to post something here on the GPF. Because it's my first post for quite a while, I wanted to share something positive with you all.
Many of you will know the trials and traumas we've had with one of our boars, Biscuit. He's been seriously ill a number of times and on a few occasions, he's been very close to the end. Each time, he's pulled through like a real fighter and come back to relative health only to be sick again a few months later (or sooner).
However, while I don't want to tempt fate :x . I would like all of you to know that Biscuit has been healthy and fit and full of beans now for over 6 months. While he still has a sensitive digestive system, which I think he will always have, he hasn't been worryingly ill. He's stronger than ever now and weighs over 1.1kg which is great for him.
So this is to let you all know how he's doing and I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to all of my friends and other members on here who have posted helpful hints, advice or just really important positive messages for us and for Biscuit every time. Thank you all and thank you to the GPF for helping us through the tough times - now I want to share the good times with you all too. New photos of both Biscuit and Caramel will be up soon
