Peggy is 6 months old and I've had her since December. I got her from a lady who got her as company for a rabbit and she was quite nervous when she got here. She settled in well with Willow and every morning when I give them their vegetables she popcorns but never seems to look where she's going and bumps into things. This morning I put them both in the run before giving them their veggies and again she popcorned, but then ran straight into the side of the run, she didn't turn or try to avoid it and it made a horrible bang noise. She bent her neck down a bit and shook and I watched her for a bit and then picked her up to check she was ok and she is but it worries me. Why does she keep bumping into things? Do you think she's just clumsy? I've never had a guinea-pig that does this. Sorry for putting it here I wasn't really sure where it should go because I didn't think it was health related.

She doesn't popcorn into things, it is always quite soon after, she'll just bump into things. I don't move things in the hutch and run

My first two guinea pigs I had when I was a child would have mad sessions running round and popcorning and quite often crash into things or each other. Gus was the same at that age, everything has to be fast!
If you're worried I'd take her for a check up. If she's disorientated she could have an ear infection that's sending her off balance or something.

This may be a daft question but is it possible she's got a sight problem?
