Hi I think I might have made abit of a mistake regarding treats for my piggies!
I purchased pick and Mix yummy treat shop hearty nibble treats for my boys and upon reading the back of the packet it says they're not suitable for small animals under the age of 8 months and mine are 6 moths! They've had 4 each.

Well; it should be alright. I don't think it'll cause damage!

However; just keep an eye on how much your boys are eating and how their poos are if you're worried! Hope all is fine!

I can't help I'm afraid as I don't give mine treats, but I hope you get the answer you need soon to put your mind at ease

I don't think it should be an issue but I would just keep an eye on them. If you are very worried and need to put your mind at rest perhaps you can ring the phone number that I can see on the packet and ask their advice. They must know for what reason they recommend you do not feed to them under 4 months.

Its probably just with chewing on them or something so if your pigs ate them fine and appear to be fine I would just keep an eye on them!

They should be OK - but watch the sugar content - it says 8.95% glucose on the ingredients list - that is a form of sugar. Sugary treats should be few and far between:) . It sort of warns you about that on the packet as well. Bit like having toddlers! They are always wanting sweet things as well:doh:.

Whilst they look tasty, I never buy or feed my piggies anything baked with cereals, yoghurt, those seed and honey sticks etc. They just don't look healthy and it's not very 'natural' in my opinion. I tried those baked donuts years ago but they were just ignored fortunately.

Primarily treats I get are plant based or hay cookie type things.
