Biting Bars, Desperate To Get To Baby

My boar, Zebedee, has been flying solo for around 4 months now and has become lonely.

Today, I finally brought home a gorgeous baby boar! Zebedeee is extremely agressive to grown males and a baby boar, I thought is the way forward.

Ive put the baby boar in a seperate cage but in the same room as other pig and for almost four hours theyve been biting the cage bars to get to each other. Its driving me insane! I cant introduce them properly now can I? Baby is 2 months old and Zebedee is 2 years old.

If you can stay awake, you can try! Otherwise, wait until tomorrow morning so you have got the whole day for intros.

I don't think my eyes will keep awake to watch them all night so perhaps tomorrow will be best lol.

My adult boar has always mounted other boars to show authority. If he does this to the tiny baby who is about four times smaller than he, is that normal? I'm frightened my baby will get squashed!

Hi! Please read the guide. We have got tips in there for baby boar bonding. Mounting will not hurt them, but it can get a bit too much, so you want to offer them an escape place that Zebedee can't get into. Ideas are in the guide. Sorry, I am currently busy with two ill/freshly operated piggies to say it all again in detail.
