I think I posted this before but I can't see it. Toby has been biting himself in the same spot for a while now and it even has two little bite marks where he has chewed it. I've searched his skin for mites and no other part of him is affected so I doubt it's mites, could this be due to boredom? He lives alone but I always interact with him and play with him. Please help inbreeding

Nvm!

I seen my other post ^^ I'm new and at first didnt think I saved it so if you could reply on the other post I would appriciate it! Thanks

sometimes fungal infections can be under the skin.. my vet treated my tucker because he was scratching and had lesions everywhere but no bugs to be found.. so she said it was probably under the skin, a fungus of some sort. She gave him 3 doses of ivermec (sp?) over 3 week period and he was fine.

I have 13 and none have ever done this. I would get your pig to a vet to see if their is an underlying problem that is causing this. :)
