Hi

I’m new to this site and desperately in need of advice about the behaviours in GPs. I have 3 boars, which I have had for a year. Bolt started getting bald patches on his bottom and it got worse so I took him to the vets who took some hair samples and give him antibiotics 3 weeks ago. In this time the patches have got bigger, scabby and are bleeding. I’ve noticed Wallace is nibbling Bolt but in a non aggressive way. There’s no fighting and Bolt let’s Wallace do it. Last night I put Wallace in a separate cage. When I put the cages near each other they all seemed desperate to be reunited as they’ve been together since being babies and it was quite sad to watch. I now have Wallace in the house but he’s very quiet. The other one, Mr Pickles doesn’t get involved.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If they are bleeding. You can’t let this continue unfortunatel, it it were just barbering which is chewing of hair there’d be no scabs or blood this is aggression and sounds like bolt is too timid to react.
Boar trios rarely work, I would suggest two cages and getting a friend for Wallace
