Chestnut has been biting and scratching alot recently, i'm not sure if it's mites or he's over heated as he drinking a lot of water.

I'm thinking of getting a spot on for him Just in case.

What do you think as I'm a bit unsure?

When i had piggies they never had mites or anything.

Is your house very warm that you'd think he was over heated? I'd look into the mite situation, personally, and as for the water, I'd keep an eye on it, and on his weight and eating habits. Might be nothing, but wouldn't hurt to be extra vigilant for a few days, right? Do you have parasitic treatments that you can put on the neck over there? We have something over here called Revolution, which is used to treat a wide variety of parasites. Is applied to the back of the neck (where the animal won't be able to reach it to lick it off), cleared Pigglywink's mites right up when she had them.

We have like a spot on solution over here so i will try that.
I will keep on eye on his weight, drinking etc.

Thanks for your advice
xxxxx
