“biting”?

We just brought home our Guinea Pigs yesterday and it seems like one keeps nipping or biting the other one, is this normal behavior? Should I let them sort it out or should I separate them?

There are behaviours like Dominance that involve chasing, and humping but biting is a worry. What size is their cage please? Guinea pigs in a pair need a minimum of 120cm X 60cm cage. Do they have two hideys?

Has any blood been drawn? Where did you get your pigs from? How long have they been together?

Are you sure it is actual biting? When they are sorting out their hierarchy they can be a bit feisty and the under piggy will squeal or squeak blue murder, which can sound like they are in pain but is their way of saying "OK, OK, you're the boss, I know" obviously you're there and can see what's going on. I only asked because you said it seemed like biting. Watch them closely and as @sport_billy says. Hi! Please have a read of this guide here. Nipping is normal, vry carefully judged dominance behaviour as your piggies establish a new working group in hierarchy in their fresh territory.
