Our guinea pig does not usually bite, only when stroked under his chin which he hates. There is now a change in his behavior. After sitting on my knee for a while sleeping and relaxing he then starts squirming and biting when I pick him up to take him back to the cage. He also starts pulling my clothes with his teeth. When I say bite, it is certainly not hard , he is not sinking his teeth in. Pulling at my clothes when trying to get him back into the cage is strange.

It sounds like he's trying to communicate something, figuring out what is the difficult bit......
Does he have a companion?

Mine pulls on my clothes when he needs to potty. Definitely not strange. It is a blessing, because he doesn't do his business on me. Many piggies do this. He also pulls on my clothes on the way to his cage, which I take as a "hurry up, please". He pees or poos in his cage immediately when I put him down.

Oh also he might be "biting " you or pulling at your clothes if you hold him uncomfortably. Some piggies might be doing this out of frustration. Mine bites/pulls at the fleece in his carrier when he wants to go back in his cage, when I deep clean it.

He's pulling on my clothes as soon as I pick him up and it's not because he wants the toilet. Maybe he's going through a rebellious phase
