So I have some barbering going on in my herd at the moment and yesterday I think I found my culprit. I saw Caramel nudge up against Tansy's rear and pretty sure she was pulling at her hair and Tansy did squeak at her, then she turned round to little Olga and started very vigorously grooming her ear. She kept going to the point Olga started to push her away. So now I'm wondering is she barbering as a form of over grooming? It's the fringes and bottom areas of the perus and my lunky, Teasle, that are getting chewed. It doesn't seem to be upsetting them and really is just cosmetic (and means I don't have as much hair trimming to do) however if it is something I could get stopped I would.
I was considering ordering this bitter apple spray but wanted to check first if anyone knew of any contra indications for using it? At end of day is just a cosmetic issues so not prepared to take any health risks to stop it.
