Can anyone understand this Bizarre behaviour from Bruno? The vet have said his teeth are fine, and hes being completely normal now, never seen this

He is gorgeous.
He may have got something stuck in his teeth or between the cheek and the gum line. I've had piggies have that although they have also pawed their mouths. I would keep an eye on him and get him checked out if he doesn't stop doing it and you can't see anything stuck between/round his front teeth. Red had hay wrapped round his front teeth once, I was able to free it for him by unwinding it (took OH to hold him for me!). Brillo had a gap between his front teeth and often got food stuck in the gap. I used to gently ease it out with a cotton bud.

Had a look at his front teeth, been chomped a bit! Got OH to hold him so I could have a look. Nothing that we could see, so I think he may have gotten it out. Sorry for the post, so many things in the last few months that I just haven't experienced somehow in almost 7 years. He does paw at his mouth a few times a day still, but the vet has checked his teeth more than once and said that they're fine. Hes managing hay and everything absolutely fine

Bruno says thank you, I have a soft spot for agoutis too 😊 they have such cheeky faces 🥰 very well done on getting the hay out for Red, I hope he wasnt as bitey as Bruno gets. Having a look in Brunos mouth felt like I was interacting with jaws (the guinea pig version)

Glad there’s nothing obvious.
