sadly after eradicating our mites and eye infection problem last month one of my pigs now has black boogers in her nose, coughs loudly every couple days, sneezes more, and makes a puffing noise when she breathes.
does anyone know what this and what medicine the vet would treat her with
please help as she is a baby and my pigs have already lost one friend this year
thank you

Please take her to the vet as soon as you can. Is she still eating and pooping?

I agree - she should see a vet as soon as possible.
Hope she's OK.
Please keep us posted

she is eating and pooping regularly
and she was popcorning and zooming earlier so she seems comfortable

The thing with Piggies is they hide that they are ill until it is too late. They are a prey animal and it is all about survival. I was pretty good at picking up and noticing that my Velvet wasn't right. ( I spent £400 on vets fees) But I failed to pick up on one vital clue and had to help her over the Rainbow Bridge 4 days ago. So although you think your piggy is OK she may be hiding something from you. My advice would be take her to the vet for a thorough check up. 3 days before I had to help Velvet over the Rainbow Bridge the vet gave her a clean bill of health which just goes to show how good they are at hiding illnesses.
