So I have a guinea pig which is 6 months and a few days old and I took him out today and didn’t notice anything unusual. But as I was stroking him earlier on I could feel a lump on his back not much bigger than a pea. I parted his hair to see a reddish black lump on his back. He seems to be acting normal but I am still concerned. Any ideas on what it is...

Hi! It is likely to be a harmless cyst, but you'd better had it vet checked during their regular opening hours, especially as it sounds somewhat inflamed.
