Black piggies

I think we should start a homage to black piggies. I’ll go first.
Our Chanel. She’s getting more used to me now and 7/10 will let me stroke her now I feel so blessed.

Aw Chanel is gorgeous, I would love an all black piggy (except the toenail cutting!) but the closest we have is Tallulah who is dark chocolate with a few ginger freckles... I think @Sonnet 's Sprout should definitely be on here!

That must be tricky! All my main herd have all pale toes but silver Ollie and chocolate Tallulah have dark toes! I am trying to pluck up courage to try dark nail trims because Ollie hates the vet so much...

It is. I’ve caught the quick on the boys a few times You can trim a little at a time, maybe each weekend until you see they’re at a good length. I saw it recommended somewhere to shine a light underneath so you can see where the quick stops. Too fiddly for me.

He was actually munching some hay! He does have a bit of pea eye going on, but he’s not scary. In fact, he’s all wheek and no bite!

My favourite herd ever..Only one now remains (Mischief). I adore black Guineas. My first one as an adult was black, they all seem to have the most amazing personalities.
